WOW bouquet definitely lives up to its name and not just in regard to the beauty of the bouquet.In times of crisis, one looks for a sympathetic and caring florist. When my 81-year brother was unexpectedly hospitalized in New Jersey with a broken leg, Tim was amazingly sympathetic, sending me pictures of different floral arrangements as I requested. Now a Florida native, I first thought of an orchid–amazingly a New Jersey florist did carry orchids to the surprise of my husband. But a beautiful arrangment with roses and lillies, that promised to open over several days, seemed preferable.When I learned that New Jersey hospitals often require a visiting family member to claim the floral arrangement from the lobby, I asked Tim to expedite the delivery so it would arrive earlier that Sunday afternoon.Somehow he made it happen–along with delivering absolutely delicious chocolate strawberries for my beautiful sister-in-law.Finally, there was an unexpected glitch with a new credit card, but Tim was kind and sympathetic.It was infinitely rewarding to patronize a local florist rather than rely on FTD. When you feel so helpless and at a distance, it’s comforting to rely on those who supply beauty to the world.If you live nearby WOW bouquet, please stop in and purchase a surprise bouquet for someone you treasure (your loved one, your parents, a friend), assuming, of course, that they aren’t in the one percent that doesn’t like flowers. – 8/24/2026
